The 2012 Chardonnay was my first attempt at a white wine. The wine was made in the bonded facility of Estate Crush in downtown Lodi. My wife wanted a butter bomb style wine, and I fell short of the amount of Butter flavor, but the wine turned out fantastic as Chardonnays are concerned. The wine was heavily oaked with 100% French oak. This wine is sold in the Estate Crush tasting room located at 2 W Lockeford St in downtown Lodi Ca.

I am very excited about our 2017 Chardonnay. Doing more research about “butter bomb” Chardonnays we chose a special yeast and ML bacteria that brings out the soft butter flavor my wife likes in a Chardonnay. I am currently doing oak trials and will decide what kind and how much oak to infuse. So far this wine is looking pretty special and buttery.
